Step 1: Log In to Website Backend
Go to https://florencewineandfood.com/login and enter your login information.
If you do not remember your login info, please use the lost your password link below the login box.
Step 2: Access Events from Dashboard
From the dashboard menu on the lefthand side, hover over Events, and then click either All Events to edit an existing event, or click Add New Event to add a new event.
If you selected All Events, you’ll see a list of events to choose from. Select or search for an event to edit.
Step 3: Edit / Add Event Data
Title, Excerpt, & Description
- Title: Event Title
- Description: This is the description shown on the event detail page
- Excerpt: This is displayed on the events listing page (florencewineandfood.com/schedule/)
Event URL (Slug)
- Slug: You can update the event URL here. Example, if you change “grand-tasting” to “burgers-beers”, the URL would change from florencewineandfood.com/events/grand-tasting/ to florencewineandfood.com/events/burgers-beers/
Gallery & Location
- Gallery: Add or remove photos from the photo gallery [Event Image Size: 3300 x 1250 pixels]
- Location: Add or edit the event location. Click here for a how-to guide for adding or editing locations. If you add or edit a location for your event, you will need to refresh the event backend for the new location to appear. Make sure to save your work first before refreshing!
Ticketing
- Ticket Title: e.g. “General Admission”, “VIP Access”
- Start/End Date & Time: Be sure to enter both start and end
- Price: Numbers only (do not include dollar sign)
- SquadUP ID: Make sure that this field contains only the numerical SquadUP ID number (no URL)
- Ticket Button Label: If nothing is entered here, this will default to “Buy Tickets”. You can add text here to override this default text to any text you would like (e.g. “VIP”)
- Add Ticket: Use this to add a 2nd or 3rd ticket type (e.g. VIP ticket)
Partners & Related Events
- Event Sponsors: Search for or select sponsors to display on the event detail page. The sponsors will appear under the event description.
- Explore More Events (Related Events): Select events to display in the Explore More Events section. If no events are selected, four random events will populate on the frontend. If an event is selected, this will override the random selection.
Step 5: Edit / Add Event Talent
To add talent to an event, you will need to edit the individual talent profiles.
- From the dashboard menu, hover over Participants, then click All Participants. Select the participant that you want to add to an event.
- In the participant profile, scroll down to the Events section. Select the event(s) that the participant will be attending.
- Update Participant Profile
