After you have added all stories to your newsletter, you can use the Newsletter Setup & Testing section to preview the newsletter, send test emails, and prepare the HTML for Drip.
This step isn’t mandatory, but you might find it helpful to use this testing method to collect edits from the team before setting up the newsletter in Drip.
- Return to All Newsletters
In the lefthand menu, click “All Newsletters”. Select the newsletter you are working on.
- Publish or Update the Newsletter
Click the blue Publish or Update button. The newsletter must be published or updated to ensure all recent changes are included before testing.
- Use the Newsletter Setup & Testing Tools
Send Test To: The testing tool automatically includes the team’s default testing email addresses. You can add additional email addresses by typing them into the field and pressing Enter or a comma after each address.
Send Test Newsletter: Click this button to send a test version of the newsletter to the selected email addresses.
Copy HTML: Copies the newsletter HTML to your clipboard for use in Drip or other email platforms.
Download: Downloads the newsletter HTML file to your computer.
Copy & Open Drip: Copies the newsletter HTML to your clipboard and opens Drip in a new browser tab.
View Newsletter: Opens a preview of the newsletter in a new browser tab.
